Our Final Week bike tour brings you 4 live, up-close stage experiences: the stage start, two legendary mountain stages, and the unforgettable final stage in Paris.

This tour isn’t just for cyclists. Non-cyclists will delight in experiences led by Chef Jon — exploring charming Alpine villages, scenic hikes, local cheese producers, visit to local brewery with tasting, and boutique shopping. Every day is crafted for fun, discovery, and gourmet indulgence.

We’re a passion-driven, boutique tour company, offering exceptional service and small group sizes. Tour owner Simon Kessler, former professional cyclist and international coach, leads the rides, while Chef Jon, with Michelin-star experience and a lifetime in the wine world.

    Petit Hôtel Confidentiel ***** – 2 nights

    Petit Hotel Confidential is a small boutique 5 star luxury hotel in central location of Chambery near old town and great shopping. We’ll be close to the stage start viewing from this ideal location.

    Hôtel et Spa l’Eclose by Odalys **** – 3 nights

    Newly renovated 4 star Hotel et Spa l’Eclose by Odalys sits right in the village of Alpe d’Huez less than a mile from two stage finishes! This is the perfect location to be immersed in the action of the Tour.

    Hotel du Rond-Point des Champs Elysees ****1 – 1 night

    Hotel du Rond-Point des Champs Elysees is a 4 star hotel just a stone throw away for the Arc de Triomphe and the stage action of the final day.

    FAQs

    When does the trip start?

    Group pick up at 12:30pm on Tuesday, July 21st at the Chambery TGV train  (trains coming from Paris).

    Where should I fly to and how do I get to the trip start?

    We recommend flying into Paris and taking the TGV train to Chambery. We recommend booking your train ticket on Trainline.

    When does the trip end?

    The tour ends on Monday, July 27th with hotel checkout in Paris. Some guests may choose to head to the airport early Monday or extend their stay in Europe.

     Do you provide travel insurance?

    We do not provide travel insurance but do highly recommend it! Please see Travel Guard to purchase insurance.

    Can I rent a bike?

    We offer top quality Specialized carbon Roubaix for $450 which covers the entire trip. The bikes are equipped with specific gear to climb mountains, typically 50/34 and 34 rear cassette. The cost for an Electric road bike rental is $500. The majority of people rent a bike as traveling with your own bike is complicated and inconvenient.

    Non Cyclists

    Our Gourmet Cycling Travel tours are known for their non-cycling activities and excursions which take place at the same time as the cyclists are enjoying an epic ride! You don’t have to make your partner follow the cyclists in a van for 5 hours or leave them alone for much of the day.

    Our trips cater equally to the non-cyclists with some super fun and interesting activities. Some of our non-cycling activities may include mountain hikes, local shopping, market visits, visit to local cheese producers, local farms visits, and more!
