Trip Highlights

The Italian Alps, Lake Garda and Milan!

Join us this May in the stunning Italian Alps, Lake Garda, and the Milan final stage finish and witness up close the final week action of the 100th edition of the Giro d'Italia!

Climb the legendary mountain passes of the Giro the Passo di Stelvio, Gavia, and Mortirolo and experience firsthand the passion of the tifosi as they cheer for the Maglia Rosa on the Stelvio Mountain Pass you just rode. Witness up close a stage start in Tirano then cycle the scenic and historic routes around Lake Garda. Discover Asiago cheese in the town of Asiago then cheer on the riders as they race to win this tough stage.

Celebrate the conclusion of the 100th Edition with the final time trial viewing on the Piazza di Duomo in the heart of Milan. We'll witness the conclusion to this historic 100th race edition at the footsteps of the Duomo before our final dinner celebration in a fine Milanese restaurant.

As always on our Grand Tours, non-cyclists are welcome and offered their own unique activities. During the Giro, non-cyclists join the rest of the group for race viewing days either from our luxury hotels or directly on the mountain. On non-race days they follow their own travel agenda of gourmet & cultural excursions with Chef Jon. We'll all gather together in the late afternoon for a bit of relaxation, followed by our jovial group dinners.

The Giro d'Italia 2018 official bike tour itinerary will be announced at the end of October 2017 (once the race organizers unveil the 2018 route).
