Cassis Cote d'Azur

Cote d'Azur Multisport Vacation

Our Côte d’Azur Multisport trip is up and running! Be ready for fun in the sun, art and adventure, culture and charm, all while exploring seaside villages and cultural meccas. We’ll mix it up between relaxation and pampering, to cycling, hiking and kayaking.

We’ll begin in the magnificent Calanques of Cassis, often called the fjords of France. Originally cut by glaciers, these limestone cliffs seem to rise directly out of the shimmering Mediterranean and are a nature lovers dream… an ideal spot for our gourmet picnic while exploring them by kayak. From Cassis we’ll head to the sleepy fishing village of Bandol and it’s red wines grown within reach of the ocean’s spray, which gives them a distinctly mineral saltiness. Cycling Bandol is a unique experience as we take in the tranquil coastline and the gorgeous wine country… stopping for a tasting of course!

From here we transfer to St. Paul de Vence and Nice. For centuries this area has been the cultural stomping ground of artists, royalty and aristocrats. Kings of England, Russian monarchs, Chagall, Picasso and Matisse, they all came here to relish the beauty and tranquility. But we don’t want to miss out on some of the fun! Cycle down from your hilltop hotel to the yachting center of Antibes and along the coast to the world famous town of Cannes. As the trip winds down we’ll visit the Old Town in Nice, the walled hilltop village of St. Paul (keep your eyes out for art treasures adorning the walls of buildings) and enjoy the sun on the famous beaches of the French Riviera.

Luxury Accommodations

Les Roches Blanches is ideally located to launch on our Mediterranean adventure. This 19th century Provencal country mansion is perched on the limestone Calanques overlooking the sea and the picturesque village of Cassis. Wander the gardens taking in the sweeping views or lounge in their infinity pool directly over the lapping waves. The Roches Blanches is just a leisurely stroll from town to enjoy the vibrant restaurant terraces on the port and next to the entrance to the Calanques natural reserve. Welcome to the perfect spot to unwind and take in the Provencal sun.

The Hotel Delos sits on an outcropping of the Ile Bendor, a nature and artist’s retreat developed by Paul Ricard, inventor of Ricard Pastis and avid painter. Just a short ferry ride from the town of Bandol, the Delos allows a privileged view as it looks back onto the Provencal coast from the sea. The island itself is a labyrinth of paths leading to extraordinary views, private coves and outdoor art installations. In case you missed the pool at our last hotel, here you once again have the opportunity to sunbathe in the pool while the sailboats pass below. We’ll be sure to enjoy their gourmet restaurant and seaside terrace! Le Hameau A haven of peace and well-known artist’s retreat,

Le Hameau lies just below the hilltop village of Sant-Paul-de-Vence, which provides a gorgeous view of Saint Paul! Adored by the various artists that have called it home, Marc Chagall may have been it’s most famous guest as he returned to stay at Le Hameau regularly. Designed in a typically Provencal style, you’ll love the exposed wood, soft colors and airy rooms. When not exploring the region, relax in their beautiful rose garden or poolside before a delicious dinner.
